Ice Cream Cake

1 German Chocolate cake mix 1 cup brown sugar ½ cup soft butter nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together and put in a 9x13 pan. Bake @ 350 for 12 minutes. When you remove cake from the oven, use a spatula to break into smaller pieces. Let the mixture cool. As it cools, periodically break into pieces so it is more of a crumble. Once cake mixture is cool, divide into two parts. Begin making cake by sprinkling another 9x13 pan with a bit of the cake mixture. Using one ice cream container, cut into squares and make first layer. Sprinkle one half of cake mixture on top. Then layer with another container of ice cream. Top with second part of cake mixture. (Small amount of cake mixture / ice-cream/ cake mixture/ ice-cream/ sprinkle top with cake mixture). Freeze. Prior to serving let it sit on the counter for a few minutes for easier serving.
